Cosmos bipinnatus

A charming array of striped flowers, this cosmos offers a range of colours from deep burgundy all the way to pale white with slight light purple stripes. Velouette grows an abundant amount of flowers on long stems perfect for the vase, and will grow easily in not-so-perfect soils. Will keep blooming until the killing frost in fall, and the more you cut, the more they bloom. For longer vase life (more than 2 days), cut the stems just before the buds open, just when they are starting to crack open into flower. 75-80 days to maturity.
