Finale Fennel

We just love fennel. And Finale is one of the best OP's we've trialed. The plants produce large, uniform 4" bulbs with slightly flattened shape. Good keeping good quality and the bulbs maintain a crisp, juicy texture and pleasant flavor. And very good bolt resistance to boot! 85 days to maturity.

In the kitchen

Finely slice bulbs against the grain and toss in a bowl with thinly sliced onion and orange segments. Pour in some olive oil, a touch of your favourite vinegar, a pinch of sugar and salt and toss with the fennel fronds.
