A great all-purpose beet variety with strong tops, ideal for the home and market garden. Uniform 3" round, dark red roots with tender flesh are eaten fresh out of the garden and can just as well be canned, pickled or frozen without loosing their quality. Tops are great for salads or a quick sautee too! 55-65 days to maturity.
