An English heirloom, this sweet, tender, richly-flavoured shelling pea grows on tall plants that climb of up 10' tall - a great return for a small space. Productive pods hold 6 to 8 peas per shell. Once shelled, cooked fresh peas with a little butter and salt are just delightful. Introduced to the market by William Fairbeard of England in 1843. 65 days to maturity.
