Orange California Poppy

Drought, deer and rabbit resistant in our gardens, this beauty offers its vibrant golden yellow flowers every sunny morning and closes shut at night. Along with the silvery green/grey foliage, it makes for a lovely addition to the flower garden and will bloom until the killing frost of fall. Direct seed in average to poor soils - this flower doesn't need your best garden plot. It looks delicate but is actually quite hardy. Annual.
