This heirloom eggplant variety has been widely grown and for many years for its large, deeply dark purple, glossy fruits. A quality OP, it produces reliably in warmer temperatures. For fruit quality, harvest fruits when glossy, before the dark skin begins fading to dull purple. Black beauty is tender and is delicious fried or grilled. Suitable for growing in containers as well as in the garden. 75 days to maturity.
