Capsicum annuumm
We were impressed with the tall plants and abundant fruit set of this sweet Italian type variety, we thought you'd want to grow them too. Plants can grow between 2 and 3 feet in height and produce a dozen+ fruits that hang nicely as they go from green to red. The texture and sweet flavour is great, much like its bell pepper cousins. Wonderfully sweet for fresh eating as well as for roasting and freezing, and smoked and ground into powder would be good too. A handful of plants will provide plenty of pepper flesh for fresh eating and preserving. Thanks to Hudson Valley Seed for offering this superb de-hybridized pepper! 90 days to maturity.
