Touted as one of the best OP yellow storage onions around, and we would have to agree thus far. Dr. Alan Kapuler started with a commercial European hybrid and reselected this as an open-pollinated variety under and for organic conditions over many years. The result is a good yielding, round to slightly heart-shaped, yellow onion with tight copper skin that keeps remarkably well. It will routinely store as long as Rossa di Milano, keeping well into spring. All-purpose culinarily and always delicious! 100 days to maturity.
