This heirloom beauty grows on vining plants and produce fruits of 4-5 lbs. It showcases a deep orange flesh that is nice and juicy and which offers that old-timey sweet melon flavour; perfectly refreshing on hot summer day. We really like this one. At peak melon season, cut and peel slices and simply wrap in prosciutto - the contrast here between sweet and salty is quite enjoyable. A classic.
