A pretty great open-pollinated broccoli! Bred by Jonathan Spero, these 4 to 5" heads are deep green and mildly sweet, and develop a purple tinge in the fall. Once the heads harvested, many side shoots prolong the harvest right into the fall. This crop is grown for us by Evalisa of Root Cellar Gardens in Thunday Bay, On. 70 days to maturity. OSSI-pledged variety.
